The SAS Group’s managed services provide third-party management and support for complete enterprise network infrastructures, from the IP transit availability right through to the performance and delivery of all voice, video and data applications.
Since managed services is our core business, and we already support hundreds of organisations in Europe and around the world, one of our major strengths is our ability to manage customer networks more cost efficiently than they could on their own; most of our 24/7 managed services customers have been able to reduce their annual management and resource costs by at least 60%. The SAS Group’s managed services portfolio includes consultancy, design, integration, IT management and product support for routers, firewalls, PBXs and switches, LAN and WAN infrastructures, mobile and wireless networks. We also have specialist knowledge of converged networks and applications, such as unified communications.
For clarity and ease of navigation, we have divided our managed services portfolio into three main categories, but customers can always mix and match their requirements from each category:
Managed communication services – managed services for WANs, Internet circuits, public VPNs, private circuits, wireless networks, remote users and mobile workers, including performance and availability monitoring for voice, video and data traffic.
Managed network services – managed services for software and hardware deployment, change management and configuration, security and disaster recovery, network monitoring and diagnostics.
Managed support services – managed services for software and hardware support, communications support, on-site support and call management.
SAS managed services are provided from our West Sussex-based network operating centre (NOC), near London in the South East. The SAS Group’s managed services team is comprised of over 60 highly trained network and systems consultants, with expertise covering every aspect of network management, design and operation. All of our managed services customers have telephone, email and, when required, on-site access to this extensive pool of knowledge and skills.
